— Service type

Full truckload: the whole trailer is yours.

No consolidation, no terminal transfer, no handing your freight to another carrier. The vehicle that leaves your plant is the one that arrives.

— What it is

One trailer, one shipper.

Full truckload — FTL, or carga fechada in Brazil — is the arrangement where the vehicle carries goods for a single customer. You don't share the trailer with anyone.

The other option is less-than-truckload, where the carrier combines shipments from several customers to fill the vehicle. LTL usually costs less for small volumes, but pays for that discount in handling: the goods are consolidated and deconsolidated along the way.

MAC runs both. This page is about full truckload, our flagship service; if your volume doesn't fill a trailer, less-than-truckload is the way to go.

The fleet behind it

We run 15 trailers under MAC’s direct control, all box trailers, plus a network of partner hauliers that load with us when volume requires it. The owned fleet is what makes a no-transfer departure possible: the vehicle is ours, the schedule is ours, and the trailer that leaves is the trailer that arrives.

Partners operate under the same documentation and insurance standard — this is not handing cargo to an unknown third party, it is extending capacity with hauliers who already run with us.

— When it pays off

Not every load needs a whole trailer.

Booking the whole trailer is worth it when at least one of these matters to your operation:

  • Volume that fills the vehicle. Past a certain point, LTL pricing stops being a saving and you pay for space you don't use.
  • A deadline that can't slip. With no transfer and no waiting to fill the vehicle, the trip depends only on the route.
  • Goods sensitive to handling. Every extra load and unload is another chance of damage. On FTL there are two: yours and the destination's.
  • Traceable responsibility. One carrier from end to end means one CT-e, one responsible party and no argument about which leg the problem happened on.

If your case is small, frequent shipments to many destinations, the honest answer is that LTL probably suits you better — and we do that too.

— How it works

From pickup to proof of delivery.

  1. Step 01

    You describe the freight

Product, weight, dimensions, origin, destination and deadline. In that conversation we say whether it is a fit for MAC.

  2. Step 02

    A written quote

The freight price with an explicit scope — what is included and what is not, with nothing appearing later.

  3. Step 03

    Pickup at origin

The trailer comes to your plant. CT-e and MDF-e issued before the freight leaves, with insurance already in force.

  4. Step 04

    Monitored trip

24-hour vehicle tracking for the whole route, with no transfer at any point.

  5. Step 05

    Documented delivery

Signed delivery receipt and closed tax paperwork — what backs your reconciliation afterwards.

— Why it matters

What you actually gain.

Less handling, less damage

Two loading operations instead of four or six. Most road freight damage starts at transfer, not on the highway.

A deadline that depends on no one else

Your freight doesn’t wait for the vehicle to fill. The trip starts when you want it to.

One responsible party throughout

With no reconsignment, "which leg did this happen on?" never comes up. Responsibility sits with whoever picked up.

— FAQ

Questions about this service.

Is there a minimum weight to book a full trailer?

We don’t work with a hard floor: what decides is weight, volume and route together. Describe the freight and we’ll quote — and if FTL doesn’t pay off for you, we say so instead of selling you the wrong service.

Do you also handle less-than-truckload?

Yes, we do both. Full truckload is the flagship, but we serve LTL for customers without the volume to fill a whole trailer. In the quote we tell you which one works out better.

Can the load be split across more than one delivery?

Yes, as long as the stops are on the same route and the vehicle stays dedicated to your operation. What we don’t do is mix your freight with another shipper’s on a full truckload booking.

What freight do you not accept?

Refrigerated freight, liquid bulk and dangerous goods. Each needs specific equipment and licensing it wouldn’t be honest to improvise. We also don’t handle residential house moves.

Got a full truckload to move?

Tell us the product, weight, origin and destination. You get the quote in writing, with what is included and what is not.

Who maintains this page Maintained by MAC Transportes, a road freight carrier based in Lagarto/SE, Brazil, with RNTRC no. 049072622, active at ANTT, its own cargo insurance policy and CT-e and MDF-e issuance. We carry full truckload, our flagship service, and also less-than-truckload, always industrial freight. We do not handle house moves. The operation is run by partners Carlos Alberto and Viviane, who are responsible for the day-to-day of the carrier.
